Clothing Catlogues
Those of us on the Internet don’t think about clothing catalogues too often. They are generally associated with a time gone by and something that is more for nostalgia than anything else. Well I can say this is not the case. I was visiting a friend and was checking out a clothing catalogue for ladies, of course! To my surprise it was nice to kick back on the couch under a nice lamp and sit and skim through a catalogue. I was able to check out all the styles without worrying about pop ups or emails distracting me, it was a very fulfilling experience.
What are some of your favorite catalogues? I am sure there are some nifty catalogues floating around out there.
Fashion catalogues – now there’s a blast from the past! I used to love flicking through my Mum’s Grattan catalogue when I was young!
I’ve not looked at them for years but here in the UK I know Grattan is still going strong, as well as Littlewoods Direct and Next Directory which people seem to like!
Clothing catalogues are useful for the fashion-conscious people. I, myself, has used clothing catalogues to search for wedding cufflinks, sterling silver cufflinks, skull cufflinks and other items that interest me.
Yeah I definitely like looking through the catalogs but I really have to go to the store to check things out and to try things on.
Looking is fun though!
Pop ups have becoming less and less frequent the more I surf. I do like looking through Martha Stewart’s bridal mag.
Clothing catalogs are about as old as the Yellow pages!
I don’t know anybody who still receives them. I can remember them from the 80’s though. I think most stores had a Christmas Catalog!
